Day 1 Arrival
On arrival your driver guide will pick you from the airport and transfer you to Kampala
for overnight at Imperial royale or Metro pole Hotel or The Lodge. BB
Day 2: The marvelous Murchison Falls National Park
Your driver/guide will pick you from hotel at 8.00am meet greet then start your drive to
Murchison falls national park with a stopover in Masindi for lunch while en route.
Murchison falls National Park covers 3,840-sq km and has recorded 76 mammal
species and 450 bird species. Arrive in the park then drive to the “Top of the Falls” for a
breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as it forces its way through a rocky gap barely six
meters wide. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.
Day 3The Boat cruise on the river Nile
Start the day with an early morning game drive in search of those animals that are
unique to the African Savannah like giraffes, antelopes, lions, elephants, and the
Uganda kobs. The bird life is also impressive, with the eagle being one of the prized
sightings and the rare shoebill. During your game drive request your guide to show you
the Congo Blue Mountains, on a clear morning. After lunch, you will go for a launch
cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes you to the Bottom of the thundering falls
where you will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a
variety of water birds like herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers,
fish eagles and sometimes the rare shoebill. Pakuba safari lodge.
Day 4 Fort Portal at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon
Transfer from Murchison Falls driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of
the Western Rift Valley. We ensure that you have packed lunch, drive through Hoima,
the town of the Bunyoro kindgom, passing though verdant countryside, tea plantations
and traditional homesteads. You arrive in the colorful and pretty town of Fort Portal, the
capital of the Tooro kingdom, in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”
(Rwenzori).Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel or Ataco country
resort.FB
Day 5 Batwa pygmies and Semliki National park
Drive to Bundibujo. The road is winding with breathtaking views. You will stop at Ntandi
to visit the Pygmies and learn about their culture and way of living. Proceed to Semliki
National Park where you will visit the Sempaya hot springs. Return to Fort Portal.

Day6 Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park after an early break, for primate viewing. The
activity starts at 8.00 am in the morning. A half day search for chimpanzees and other
primates including phoestes, Red-colobuses, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked
mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small
insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on
all the forest’s fauna and flora. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park,
following the mystical Ruwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. A game drive
enroute may be rewarded with view of waterbucks, elephants, leopards, buffaloes,
spotted hyenas and a variety of antelope species. Dinner and overnight Mweya Safari
Lodge or Ihamba lodge or Bush lodge.
Day 7 Boat cruise along Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward
Embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens’s mile tracks in the
park and expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalo, warthogs, leopard, spotted hyena,
mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topi and a lot of small animals and birds. Return
to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch board the boat cruise for the best navigation of the
Kazinga Channel, a good experience for birders, as you will see many water birds,
cormorants, pelicans, eagles, as well as crocodiles, hippos, elephants. Dinner and
overnight Mweya Safari Lodge or Ihamba lodge or Bush lodge.
Day 8 Bwindi impenetrable national park
Early breakfast before going on another game drive in search of tree climbing lions then
proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in time for a late lunch. Bwindi Impenetrable
National Park is home of the rare mountain gorillas. Apart from gorillas, there are a wide
variety of primates to see including the blue and red tailed monkeys. The forest itself is
lush and green and there are streams running through it. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 9 Encounter with the mountain Gorillas
Morning briefing from the rangers at 8.00 am before you enter the gorilla sanctuary. The
thrill of your encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring
jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching
the gorillas go about their activities. Each encounter is different and has its own
rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and
resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. A
recently proclaimed World Heritage site, it’s one of the most biologically diverse areas
on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of
mountain gorillas – believed to number just 600. There’s also a substantial chimpanzee
population and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two
apes live together. Return for dinner and overnight at Mahogany springs or
Silverback Lodge or Buhoma Community. FB
Day 10 The wonderful Lake Bunyonyi
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Lunch break then take on afternoon boat ride to
some of the islands on the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritage lodge or Acadia
cottages (B) FB
Day 11 Lake Mburo national park
Drive to Lake Mburo National park. Arrive in time for a boat ride on the Lake. The
presence of Lake Mburo within the park is a blessing worth mentioning. The lake is rich
with a diversity of animal and plant species which will be viewed clearly as you are on
the boat trip. Expect to see hippopotami and birds like African Fin foot, Pelicans, Black
crake, Heron, cormorant, fish eagle; you may also sight the rare Shoebill Stork. You can
opt to take on a short nature walk after the boat ride. All these will furnish your visit with
pride. Dinner and over night, stay at Mihingo lodge or Mpogo lodge FB
Day 12 Game drive
After an early breakfast, take on a morning game drive. Lake Mburo National Park is a
very special place; every part of it is alive with variety, interest and color. It contains an
extensive wetland. You are likely to see elands, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, topis
and zebras. Thereafter transfer to Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay at Imperial
royale or Metro pole Hotel or The Lodge. BB
