Depart Kampala by 8.00am; drive to Jinja the second largest town in Uganda. It is characterised by the
Asian quarters, the brewery industries and the colourful gardens. Visit the Source of the Nile on Lake

the white water rafting, which is one of the main attraction in Jinja. Then, return to Kampala for Dinner
and overnight at Imperial Royale or a similar facility.

Day 3 The Marvelous Murchison Falls

You will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park early morning, the largest protected area in
Uganda, with 3.840 Kms, which is named after the falls on the Victoria Nile, it divides the park in two
sectors. Relax a bit at a situated site on the top of the spectacular falls, where you can see the Nile’s
perfected beauty, and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down
through 8 meter canyon. The 43 meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful
rainbow in a plume of spray – the best thing to ever happen to the Nile. Lunch; In the afternoon, embark
on a game drive on the Northern bank where you will be able to spot elephants, lions, cape buffalos,
Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribi, bushbucks, spotted hyenas and, if you are lucky,
leopards. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba safari lodge or at a similar facility.

“Devil’s Cauldron.” There you can marvel at toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer
stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs. This is also the habitat of many bird
species including goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hombills, cormorants
and the rare shoebill stork. Return to your Lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Valley. We ensure that you have packed lunch, drive through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro kindgom,

other animals may be seen drinking at the water edge. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous
with well over 550 resident species. Return for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Ihamba lodge.

Day 9 The encounter with mountains gorillas

Morning briefing from the rangers at 8.00 am before you enter the gorilla sanctuary. The thrill of your
encounter will erase the difficulties of the potentially strenuous trek. Bring jungle boots and rain jackets
because the park is often wet. Spend time in awe watching the gorillas go about their activities. Each
encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults
feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful
display. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swathe of dense rainforest, so ancient that
survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed World Heritage site, it’s one of the most biologically
diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of
mountain gorillas – believed to number just 600. There’s also a substantial chimpanzee population and
research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together. Return for
dinner and overnight at Mahogany springs or Silverback lodge bwindi. FB
