Day 1 Drive to Queen Elizabeth NP
Early in the morning leave your hotel and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park. Stop over at the Equator at Kayabwe for photographs and water experiments. Proceed and have lunch in Mbarara town at Igongo cultural centre. Proceed to the headquarters at Mweya and reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Bush lodge.
Day 2 Game drives and launch cruise
Enjoy the sunrise by taking an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track, Queen’s mile and expect to see Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Kobs, Waterbuck, and if you are lucky the shy Leopard and Spotted Hyena. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Afternoon go for the spectacular boat cruise on Kazinga Channel for amazing bird life and a variety of wild animals. Evening sight seeing around the volcanic crater area and Baboon cliff is amazing! Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 3 Chimp tracking and Game drive
After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park extra ordinary crate lakes, each with an extra ordinary character. After lunch, drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk to look for the habituated chimpanzees and other primates. This gorge is 16 km long on the Rift Valley and 100 meter deep. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick for this spectacular trekking. . Return for dinner and overnight stay at Bush lodge..
Day 4 Game drive in the Ishasha sector
Have a very early breakfast and then go for a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. You will most likely meet grazing Hippos, Elephants, and Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush buck, water buck, stripped jackal, comical warthogs and the elusive leopard. Drive further along the deep and wide dry craters that are occupied by savanna grasses and
acacia trees. The drive takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment and the (southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park) Ishasha sector. Lunch break then take on yet another game drive in search of tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay at river lodge.
Day 5 Transfer Back To Kampala
This day is reserved for your return to Kampala or Entebbe.
